How We Work
End-to-end structural steel delivery
From the first drawing to the last bolt torqued on site — we own the whole process. No middlemen, no hand-offs, no excuses.
Step 01
Drafting & Shop Detailing
Developing precise workshop drawings and structural drafting plans to prepare for production.
Every project starts at the drawing board. Our team develops detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans that translate engineering specifications into precise production instructions. Accurate detailing means fewer surprises on site and steel that fits first time.
Step 02
Steel Fabrication
Manufacturing the structural steel components in the workshop according to approved specifications and shop drawings.
Our Pakenham fabrication workshop is equipped to handle projects from a few tonnes to 180-tonne industrial platforms. We cut, drill, weld, and assemble structural steel to exacting standards — the same care regardless of project scale.
Step 03
Surface Treatment & Finishing
Applying the required protective finishes—including abrasive blasting, painting, coating, and galvanising—to ensure long-term durability.
Structural steel requires the right surface treatment to perform for decades in the Australian environment. We manage the full surface treatment scope: abrasive blasting, painting, epoxy coatings, and coordination with galvanisers where required by the specification.
Step 04
Logistics & Delivery
Coordinating all transport logistics and organising the delivery of fabricated steel directly to the project site.
Getting fabricated steel to site safely and on time is its own discipline. We coordinate transport permits, oversized load movements, site access requirements, and just-in-time delivery scheduling so material arrives when the site is ready for it.
Step 05
Onsite Erection & Installation
Managing the complete onsite assembly, including the coordination of all transport, cranes, and specialised site teams.
Our own erection crews handle the full onsite assembly — from mobile crane coordination on open industrial sites to confined-space lifts in occupied buildings. We've erected steel on CBD rooftops, regional platforms, and everything between. The crew travels, and they know how to work safely in complex environments.
